IS IT A GATED SHOW?
Arena: The Perfect Circle can be gated or free of charge depending
on the client. The Arena can hold up to 2500 people in a specially constructed
amphitheatre.
This very particular performance environment will:

Control the size of audience and
enable good site lines and distances between performers and audience.
·
Help create intensity of
performance and a sense of cohesion and occasion within the audience.
·
Create a sense of mystery and
expectation in the community as it is erected and used.
·
Allow the promoter to charge
entrance for up to 2500 audience per night, possibly enabling a performance of
this scale in venues/towns that otherwise could not afford it.
As with Runga Rung, local outreach work can feed into the event.
This can take many forms including visual arts, dance and music
workshops, master classes and professional development work with local
artists/groups.
The performance will include the following arts forms; physical and
aerial performance, dance, music, sculptural props and sets and video.
The cast and key collaborators will reflect EEA’s commitment to
inter-cultural work and will be a mix of British Asian, Black
British and White British artists.
