  • How long is the programme?

    • You'll have access to all the Academy support and resources for as long as you need it, paying on a monthly basis.  

    • It takes most founders around 3 months to complete the comprehensive online training, working through as you prepare for and run your fundraising campaign. 

    • The content is self-paced, so if you want to go faster, you can, and we'll support you with that ambition.

    • In our experience, around 60% of Fundraising Academy Alumni close their investment round with the money in the bank within 6 months. 

  • What kind of training resources can I expect?

    • The Fundraising Academy is a blended multi-media programme, including video, audio and written modules.

    • You'll be provided with tools,  templates and checklists to support you.

    • You'll join our online female founder community where you can get further support.


    • You can optionally  join a monthly group coaching session led by your course leader Julia, for live interactive support online.

    • You can also access 1-2-1 coaching sessions with Julia

  • How much time commitment is involved?

    • The Fundraising Academy programme is around an hour of training and guidance each week, assuming you complete the programme within 12 weeks - although it's self paced, so if you want to go faster, you can. 

    • We recommend you set aside an hour or two aside each day to work on preparing for and running your fundraising campaign, based on your learnings from the programme. It's going to take work, but we'll do our best to make it as painless as possible, and hey it might even be fun!

    • If you opt to  join our monthly group coaching session, which is 90m, this is usually held on the last Friday lunchtime of each month.

    • It usually takes 4-6 months to complete a professional fundraise, although it can sometimes take longer, which is why we continue to support you for a full 12 months.

  • Can my co-founder join the programme with me?

    • Absolutely. If you'd like your co-founder to participate in the programme, and have access to all the fundraising resources we provide, then we welcome them at no extra charge. Please drop us an email, and we can arrange access for them.

    • And it's also fine if your co-founder's a guy - we have nothing against men! But our primary interest is giving you, the female founder, the very best chance of success.

  • Will you connect me to investors?

    • We'll show you exactly how to build out your network of investors, whether that's capitalising on your existing contacts and their network, connecting with new potential angel investors, investment platforms and syndicates, and even institutional investors. 

    • You'll get access to our investor database, which includes institutaional investors, angel syndicates and platforms.

  • Can you connect me to other experts I'll need?

    • Absolutely. At the most basic level, you'll need good legal and finance experts to help with your fundraising. If you don't have these in place already, we'll connect you to the right people.

    • We work with an extensive rota of expert partners who can help with other elements of your fundraising and growth plans, for example, videography, design or copywriting, should you need them. You name it, we probably know someone who can help, and we'll be happy to introduce you. 

  • Can I get extra one-on-one help if I need it?

    • Yes, if you'd like extra one-to-one coaching sessions with Julia whilst you're on the Fundraising Academy programme, then she'll be happy to help you.  Just select the Gold support package option when you enrol
